Abstract
Pincer nail syndrome is characterized by an idiopathic excessive transverse curvature of the nail plate, which may cause severe pain in the affected digit. To the best of our knowledge, all the reported cases were middle-aged or elderly women.

Herein, we report a five months old gril with pincer nails. Deformities of a few finger and toe nails were observed at birth, which became worse in severity and finally all the nails were involved. We think this is the first case occurred in an infant.
